In spite of his weakness, he is listed in the book of Hebrews as one of the great heroes of faith whose weakness was turned into strength (Hebrews –34). Lord, thank you for the way you use people of faith and turn our weakness into strength. A weakness is any limitation that you inherited or have no power to change. Everyone has weaknesses. In fact, you have a bundle of flaws and imperfections: physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual. Usually we deny our weaknesses, defend them, excuse them, hide them, and resent them. This prevents God from using them the way he desires.

The important thing is not whether or not we have weaknesses, but what we do with them.
If we deny, excuse or hide them, we prevent God from doing what He desires in and through us. The reason is that they are not aware of their weakness, and so they are not God-fearing enough to cry out to God in their need before they fall.
They do not present themselves before the throne of grace to seek our great, compassionate High Priest, He who sympathizes with their weakness and can therefore give them grace to help at the right. Weakness is an opportunity for God to work powerfully in our lives.
